2Usmiles clear aligners (or clear braces/invisible aligners) are the alternative to traditional orthodontic treatment with metal braces. You will receive a set of aligners, and each aligner tray will gently push your teeth on specific points to move them into the correct position. With every set of aligners, you should see your smile transform!
Clear aligners work as “clear braces.” But unlike traditional braces, clear aligners are nearly invisible, offering more mobility in day-to-day life. 2Usmiles clear aligners are also comfortable, removable, and easy to manage.
Depending on the treatment plan and the severity of your case, 2Usmiles clear aligners can take as few as 4 months for Quick Effective and 12 months for Night Comfort.
If you decide on the Quick Effective daytime plan, 2Usmiles clear aligners must be worn for at least 22 hours a day. You should only remove the tray to eat, drink (other than water), brush, and floss. The treatment plan is designed in this way, and not wearing your aligners for the minimum amount of time required each day could jeopardize your progress.
The Night Comfort, on the other hand, should be worn at least 10 hours per day, ideally when you’re sleeping.
Insurance/Pricing
2Usmiles offers a one-time fee payment option or monthly installments by 2Usmiles Pay with a $399 down payment.
Yes! Most flexible spending and health savings accounts can cover the expense for impression kits, 2Usmiles clear aligner treatment, and retainers.
If you need to split the payment between your FSA and another card, we can manually process your order over the phone.

1. Front/Back picture/scan of insurance card
2. Your/Policy Holder's name and DOB
Absolutely not! The package contains everything you need for that perfect smile: the impression kit, your full clear aligner treatment, and a free set of retainers.
Pre-Treatment
Your impression kit will give us the information we need to know if you are a good candidate for 2Usmiles treatment. If we determine you are not a candidate for 2Usmiles and you have purchased our bundle, we will refund 100% of your payment. However, there is no refund option for impression only purchase.
Follow the video down below. Make sure to check if the empty tray fits over your teeth before molding the putty.
The good thing is that each impression kit comes with four putties, so if you accidentally do an impression incorrectly, there are back-ups! If you would like to see examples of adequate impressions, please refer to the video down below at the 1:40 mark. If you send the impressions back to us and our team determines we need additional models, we will ship you another impression kit, free of charge.
After you purchase the impression kit, it should be shipped to your home in 3-4 business days.
Normally when we receive your impression kit, it will take our orthodontics team 5 business days to review and assess your case.
It really depends on the dental work performed. Normally if there are any periodontal (gum) issues, we recommend you solve the problem first, then start the treatment.
Most likely not, unless you have impacted wisdom teeth which requires tooth extraction first. This does vary case by case, so we recommend ordering an Impression Kit to verify. Remember, Impression Kits have a 100% guarantee, so if we determine you’re not a candidate, you will get a full refund!
No worries! In most cases, we can work around this, but we still recommend confirming through a 100% guarantee Impression Kit.
That answer varies. We normally would recommend to get aligner treatment first as your teeth will shift during the process, but we recommend you consult your dentist for your specific case.
Absolutely. But we will still need impressions of both your top and bottom teeth so our team can create a correctly aligned final plan. There is no price difference though unfortunately.
During Treatment
After you send in your impressions, we will create a personalized 3D model to monitor your progress and also the finished results. This will be your treatment plan, and you will confirm it before the treatment starts. You get to make the decisions!
If you don’t have any periodontal (gum) issues or cavities, your teeth should not hurt during the process. However, at the beginning there could be mild discomfort as your body is still adjusting to a foreign device.
Every set should be worn for two weeks. Make sure to follow the schedule or complications may arise with your plan.
We understand the desire, but the answer is no. Doing so could have adverse effects on your teeth, so please follow the treatment plan that our orthodontist team has created for you.
Yes! 2Usmiles clear aligners are even 60% more clear than competitors.
You may clean your aligners by carefully rinsing them with cool water (DO NOT use hot water). You can also use a soft-bristle toothbrush for a deeper cleaning.
A thousand times yes. Please keep all old aligners in a separate container or their original packaging. We ask that patients do this just in case you need them later on and to qualify for 2U Lifetime Guarantee.
Unfortunately no, doing so may damage or even break your aligners. Please remove your aligners when eating or drinking anything other than water.
This is very normal! You’ll most likely experience a temporary lisp (a few days) as your mouth adjusts to the clear aligner.
First of all, congratulations! 2Usmiles clear aligners are BPA free and FDA approved. So, if you’re in the treatment process or plan to start the treatment, there will be no unwanted side effects to your unborn baby.

Post-Treatment
In order to maintain your new smile, you will need to wear retainers for at least 1-2 years. We do not recommend skipping this step! Refusing to wear retainers could cause your teeth to shift back to their original position or even worse!
For the first two weeks after treatment, you will have to wear your retainers 22 hours a day. After this period, you will have to wear them at least 8 hours a day (perfect for sleeping!)
Yes! The first pair of retainers come with the package when you finish the treatment plan, and every additional set is $60. Retainers usually last 6 months each, but this varies case by case.
